Aditya Mathur has been engaged in teaching and research in Computer Science since 1972. He is a founding member of the Department of Computer Science at the Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani. Aditya has written three textbooks and published over 100 research papers mostly in software engineering in international journals and conferences. His book titled Introduction to Microprocessors was the first text of its kind in India published in 1980. This book continues to a favorite of thousands of students. While at Purdue, Aditya has served as the Director of the Industry/University Cooperatoive Software Engineering Research Center, Associate Department Head, Associate Dean, and Department Head. He has offered consulting services to numerous companies in India and the US.
