Joseph S. Valacich is the George and Carolyn Hubman Distinguished Professor in Information Systems in the College of Business and Economics at Washington State University. His current research interests include electronic commerce, the diffusion of technology in organizations, group decision behavior, and distance learning. Prior to pursuing an academic career, Valacich worked in the Seattle area in a variety of technical and managerial positions.
