Pradip Kumar Sengupta, P.R.S., Ph.D., was Professor and Head, Department of Philosophy and Comparative Religion; and Coordinator, Special Assistance Programme (UGC), Visva-Bharati. The broad areas of his research interest are philosophy of science and philosophy of logic. He was associated with the University of Oxford and the London School of Economics, for higher research. He was UGC National Lecturer and a Senior Fellow, Indian Council of Philosophical Research (ICPR), New Delhi.
