Celebrate (Revised), a course in communicative English, equips learners with the skills to communicate effectively in real-life situations. Based on the  ommunicative pedagogy, the series integrates the four basic skills&mdashlistening, speaking, reading and writing&mdashwith grammar, vocabulary and communicative functions. The main coursebook is thematic in the middle school. It focuses on all the aspects of language development. The reading texts expose learners to a variety of genres, such as fiction or nonfiction in English, stories in translation, articles, reports, travelogues, interviews and diary extracts. The poems have been chosen for their universal appeal. Each coursebook carries a play, and a graphic narrative in levels 1-5. Question types include multiple-choice questions, long and short answers, value-based questions and those that test higher-order thinking skills. Writing tasks are both functional and creative, and follow prescribed formats.
