Dr. Scott Andrew Shane is Professor of Economics and Entrepreneurship at the Weatherhead School of Management at Case Western Reserve University, where he teaches a course on high technology companies. He has taught at MIT's Sloan School of Management, Georgia Tech's DuPree School of Management, and the University of Maryland's Robert H. Smith School of Business. His books include eneral Theory of Entrepreneurship, Foundations of Entrepreneurship, Academic Entrepreneurship, and Entrepreneurship: A Process Perspective He edits the Innovation and Entrepreneurship Division at Management Science. Dr. Shane holds a Ph.D. from The Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania.
