Dr. Alex Aravind is currently an Associate Professor in Computer Science Program at the University of Northern British Columbia (UNBC). He teaches operating systems at UNBC, where he has been a member of the faculty since 1999. Alex conducts research on operating systems and distributed computing and has published several research articles in leading journals and conferences. He is a member of ACM, IEEE, and SCS, and served as program technical committee members for many international conferences. Alex has chaired a number of conference sessions and delivered invited talks.
